CHIPS FOR KIDS ANNUAL TOY DRIVE
Each year, Colusa County CAPC & FRC teams up with the local CHP Office and other local businesses to conduct a Toy Drive. The toys are generously donated by members of the community and are collected in bins that are placed throughout the county. Toys for children aged 12 and under are then organized by our agency staff and disseminated to community members who have applied to be considered for the program. Last year, the CHiPS for Kids Program supplied Christmas gifts to over 180 children in Colusa County that were in need of some extra holiday cheer during the Christmas Season.

TOY DISTRIBUTION DAY
Our CHiPS for Kids Toy Distribution Day has been scheduled for Friday, December 11th. There will be two time slots for the gift distribution in the morning and afternoon/evening. We will be practicing COVID-19 Safety Protocols and expect that participants please adhere to sanitary protocols. Please stay home if you are sick. You can contact our office to secure alternative options for your toys. We will be screening individuals at arrival and you will not be able to participate in person if you do not clear the screening process for COVID-19 related symptoms. We ask that you leave children at home if and when possible and that one family member per application is present at the distribution day.
If your application has been submitted, please await a phone call from our office to inform you of the status of your application. If your application is accepted into the program, you will be notified via phone. We will leave a message if you do not answer, so please ensure that your voice mail box is set up to receive voice messages.
If you are unable to attend on this day and time, please contact our office for further information and to secure an alternative way to receive toys per the CHiPS for Kids Annual Toy Drive.
